How Ledger + Leaf Advisory handles your information.
Ledger + Leaf Advisory, led by Julie “Mae” Gabato, is responsible for handling inquiries received through this website, Microsoft Forms, and the firm’s contact details.
What we collect and why
The inquiry form collects your name, work email, organization, and the help you need. Phone, target date, and a short business context are optional. We use these details to assess and respond to your inquiry, arrange discussions, and manage a potential engagement—not to add you to a marketing list.
Please do not include confidential documents or sensitive personal information. The form does not accept attachments. No Microsoft account is required, and the email address and identity supplied by a respondent are not verified.
Where inquiries go and who can access them
Form responses are held in Ledger + Leaf Advisory’s Microsoft 365 environment. Mae receives response notifications in the firm’s business mailbox and reviews responses in Microsoft Forms. Access is limited to Mae and any specifically authorised personnel who need it to handle inquiries or administer the service. Responses are not published or shared with other visitors. Any working exports must remain in the firm’s restricted Microsoft 365 storage.
If you email the firm instead, your message and the contact details you provide are handled for the same purposes.
Retention
Inquiries that do not become client engagements are retained for 12 months after the last contact, then deleted from active inquiry records, including working exports and related correspondence, unless retention is required to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. If an inquiry becomes an engagement, relevant information is kept with the client records under the applicable engagement and retention requirements. Provider backups and recovery copies follow the providers’ deletion and retention processes.
Service providers and website operation
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. Microsoft 365 provides the inquiry form and business email. These providers process information to deliver, maintain, and secure their services, potentially in locations where they operate. Loading an embedded Microsoft form connects your browser to Microsoft, which may process technical information and use cookies or similar technology under its privacy statement.
The site does not use advertising trackers, a newsletter subscription, or site analytics. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the website. Public pages and the readiness checklist remain available without submitting an inquiry.
Your choices and requests
Contact privacy@ledgerleafadvisory.com to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Requests are considered under applicable law and record-retention obligations. You can also contact inquiries@ledgerleafadvisory.com about your inquiry.
